Since I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology I have been committed to continually expanding my knowledge and experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, children, youth & families.

Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working with clients of all ages and backgrounds in various settings, including schools, private practices, non-profit organizations, and clinics.

My counseling approach is collaborative and integrative, drawing from Attachment Theory, Person-Oriented, and Systemic Family theory.

Building trusting and strong relationships with my clients is of utmost importance to me, and I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space where empathy and genuine care flourish.

Mariana Canepa — Counselling Trainee (Under Supervision) Mariana holds a master’s degree in Psychology and is currently completing her clinical training at Connexion Counselling, where she provides individual therapy under supervision. Her therapeutic approach integrates brief psychodynamic perspectives, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based methods to support adults experiencing anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relational challenges. She also brings over a year of experience supporting vulnerable adults through her volunteer work at Coast Mental Health in Vancouver, where she received training in mental health, trauma-informed practices, and harm-reduction approaches.
